Tasting Notes

😍4.5/5 - Tangy & Spicy Delight!

You will get different tastes in the same drink as it tastes sweet in the first sip but simply goes on to be somewhat stronger with the added citrus and the black tea.

The gin will leave a tingling spicy taste on your tongue. It has a lot of flavours emerging one by one unfolding the surprise.

This gin is different to many on the market as it provides a quality tangy and strong caffeine taste that you can't find anywhere else.

Gin and Tonic

In a tonic this gin taste long and smooth accompanied by a malty taste followed with hints of citrus and vanilla.

Also, the garnished lemon makes sure it retains it's signature tangy flavor.

The gin also tastes great with the addition of a bitter tonic. But it is totally up to you to have the drink as per your choice and taste, be it with or without the tonic.

History of Half Hitch

The Half Gitch Gin was eventually brought back to life by Mark Holdsworth in late 2014, bringing back the Camden manufacturing unit to action. The gin is currently distilled at the Camden Lock Distillery, interestingly it is distilled in the Victorian Warehouse Vaults.

The name of the gin along with the label design was originated from the rope knot type that is used along with the Camden locks. The making of the Half Hitch gin includes the distilled gin base with the tincture addition to the solution to give the gin the unique taste it is known for.

The bottle is also uniquely designed bringing together the craft and beauty of the product together. The design of the bottle altogether reflects the boldness and authenticity with the hint of effort and determination put into the product.

Metal labels are used on the glass bottles to express the heft and wrought iron cues. Also, the monochromes and colored lacquers are used for the bottle finishing representing its grace.
