Tasting Notes

🤩  4/5 - A rooty spicy flavour!

The taste of this gin is interesting as the rooty dryness provides a nice balance to the sweet citrus flavour, these flavours are then followed up by the spicy juniper which tastes tangy as it is accompanied by the blackcurrant. The gin is extremely clean and features some hints of fennel seeds and the celery with the crisp juniper leading to its long awaited finish.

The finish is very long where the juiciness and spicy juniper flavour are maintained until the final sip, hints of blackcurrant and liquorice provide an exciting alternate flavour.

Overall, this gin is very satisfying to drink neat however it tastes better as a sipping gin. The silky and dry palate provides an interesting taste that needs to be experienced, a great purchase for a summer or winter drink.

Gin and Tonic

The gin works well with in a G&T as the added tonic gives provides a crisp, juniper forward and pleasantly dry feel. You can try out the gin with different kinds of flavors depending on your mood and the taste. It will surely blend well with each one of them and give you an astonishing mouthwatering treat.

History of the Hepple Company

The Hepple estate where the manufacturing of the gin is done is situated in the national park of the remote Northumberland and surrounded by four of the United Kingdom’s cleanest rivers.

The company consists of a team of hard-working intellectuals working together to give you the best possible product. The immensely talented and efficient team members of the company are one of the biggest reasons behind its success.

The process for the production of the Hepple gin uses a combination of the copper pot distillation methods with the single distillations done in a number of ways.

Design

The bottle of the Hepple Gin is made of clear glass displaying the contents and it is capped with a metal cap with the bottle being simply designed in the classic form. Also, the label gives the idea of the richness and integrity of the company.
