Tasting Notes

😋4.5/5 - Exotic Taste!

The gin is quite smooth in the finish with a oily texture when tasted neat, it has an initial spiciness in its taste and quite a warmth when sipped neat.

The warmth is followed by the floral avalanche and the complexity of the citrus, it also tastes a little bit tangy due to the presence of an abundant amount of citrus.

The gin has a quite pleasant aftertaste with a slightly spicy and earthy lingering taste, overall it was simply wonderful.

Gin and Tonic

This gin tastes well with the Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic and balances out the taste of it to every extent. Also, the aromas drive off because of the distinctively complex and floral effervescence of the suggested tonic water.

The citrus complexity of the Whitley Neill Gin is well balanced by the tonic and it is also has a smooth and sippable finish, followed by a spicy aftertaste the gin serves a sweet and bitter taste one after another.

History of Whitley Neill

Whitley Neill launched back in 2005 and is presently one of the premium London Dry Gins, it’s made out of a mixture of African botanicals and it is an exotic drink to taste with the presence of Baobab fruit and Cape Gooseberries.

This gin is distilled near Birmingham and the botanicals of the gin are distilled in a copper pot still using traditional methods with the end product being of high quality.

Its tagline well suggests the idea behind the formation of the gin itself. The tagline says “Made in London and Inspired by Africa”. The tagline also gives an idea of the inspiration and attitude opted by the manufacturer when they started the production of the product. No matter if the brand is just ten years old it still does not fail to deliver a quality product.

The family gin of the Whitley Neill Gin is connected to the distilling back in the mid-eighteenth century. Most gin companies do not have the same growth rate of this product, it has succeeded to establish its name as one of the top-selling gins in the world.

The gin fans still love it and are expecting more products from the company in the coming years and no wonder the numbers of Whitley Neill Gin consumers are on a rise in the United Kingdom.

Design

The Bottle of the Whitley Neill Gin is attractive and sealed with a wooden cork, it has the company’s logo printed on it and represents the richness and integrity of the company, it is made attractive and does not fail at impressing with it's appealing design.
