On the nose it has a peppery spice that is balanced by sweet citrus peels
Smooth featuring exotic hints of spices and citrus
A long smooth lingering herbal spice
4.5/5 - Exotic Taste!
The gin is quite smooth in the finish with a oily texture when tasted neat, it has an initial spiciness in its taste and quite a warmth when sipped neat.
The warmth is followed by the floral avalanche and the complexity of the citrus, it also tastes a little bit tangy due to the presence of an abundant amount of citrus.
The gin has a quite pleasant aftertaste with a slightly spicy and earthy lingering taste, overall it was simply wonderful.
Gin and Tonic
This gin tastes well with the Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic and balances out the taste of it to every extent. Also, the aromas drive off because of the distinctively complex and floral effervescence of the suggested tonic water.
The citrus complexity of the Whitley Neill Gin is well balanced by the tonic and it is also has a smooth and sippable finish, followed by a spicy aftertaste the gin serves a sweet and bitter taste one after another.
The botanicals that are featured are:
Juniper, Coriander, Orange peel, Lemon peel, Angelica, Cassia, and orris root, Cape Gooseberry and Baobab fruit.
